How long will your personal information be kept
We will hold personal information for the following reasons/periods:
- We hold information securely for office use only and to actively manage current representations, representation is usually on a rolling basis and is therefore held for the time the individual is represented by Y2K Promotions, this information is provided freely and representation can be discontinued at anytime via email to the office.
Personal information in relation to payments made are held securely for 6 years to satisfy UK tax law.
These periods are no longer than necessary in each case.

Information provided by Y2K Promotions to any client/casting director is by consent and will include images and stats (measurements) these are provided to potentially secure both castings and/or bookings for the individual.
Information pertaining to a minor, if they secure a booking will also include parental/chaperone details and identification, this information is only provided to a council or court and is a legal requirement by The Children and Young Persons Acts 1933 and 1963 and The Children (Performances) Regulations 2014.
Further information may be shared by consent only with a verified client or casting director and only in relation to contracts or call sheets.
Keeping your information secure
We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed in any unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine reason to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We are certified to ISO 27001, this family of standards helps us to manage your information and keep it safe and secure.
